First chance I've had to get back to The Tarn since Monday's excitement but no sign of the RVDs. Next door at Fen Bog didn't see any adult Keeled Skimmers either but several newly-emerged ones showing.

Leeds Bird Fair this Saturday at Rodley Nature Reserve. YDG will be there. A good day out, lots of different groups represented and plenty of activities.
Inspired by the arrival of RVDarters in the area, surely not at The Tarn as well, but yes they were! Just 2 found, which I think is a first for this site? 7 species there altogether, mainly in the marsh next to the tarn.
